Biography:

Professor Nathalie Wong obtained her DPhil from University of Oxford UK and later received her post-doctoral training at King’s College School of Medicine and Dentistry, London. She is now Professor at the Department of Anatomical and Cellular Pathology, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Professor Wong’s research focuses on elucidating the molecular basis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).  Her current research includes genome analysis for causal mutations in the liver oncogenesis, functional characterisation of candidate tumour suppressors and oncogenes for modulated signalling pathways and microRNA changes in the development of HCC.
