Bruker MALDI Biotyper Sirius

The MALDI Biotyper System identifies microorganisms using MALDI-TOF MS (Matrix-Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization Time of Flight) mass spectrometry to determine the unique proteomic fingerprints of microorganisms. It allows robust and high-throughput matching of the respective fingerprint pattern with an extensive reference library, so that identification of microorganisms could be done down to the species level within a few minutes, instead of taking hours or days via the classical biochemical methods. 

Bruker IR Biotyper

Bruker IR Biotyper is a Fourier-Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy for high throughput, user friendly microbial strain typing with high discriminatory power.
Isolates harvested from microbial culture could be characterized by making use of the strain-specific absorbance patterns of various biomolecules such as lipids, proteins, nucleic acids, and polysaccharides in the infrared spectrum.
